I love drawing moon craters. I don’t know why, I just do.
I was quite pleased with the way this one turned out, right down to the tiny Clanger peeping from its hole. Can you spot it?
This was suggestion I received by email. I’d just finished drawing all the ants for the ANThology so insect physiology was pretty much second nature by this point. I enjoyed rendering the hornet’s abdominal patterning though, it made a nice change.
I mentioned before on Cricket Bat that it was a challenge getting a non-human into a human pose. Well getting a bat to play cricket was a walk in the park compared to getting a lobster to hold a tommy-gun!
